Monday, August 13, 2007: Simson Maxwell to the Rescue!
On Monday, August 13, 2007 Simson Maxwell received a call for assistance from
Nav Canada. The power to two runways at the Edmonton International Airport had beed
disrupted,
limiting their use.
Luckily, we had two 15kw SDMO gensets in stock. We rushed them to the airport
and were able to quickly restore power to the runways. In less than 4 hours after
the disruption, both runways were completely operational once more.
Until power can be restored at the airport, Simson Maxwell’s generators will continue
to provide power to the Edmonton International Airport’s runway system.
